Cognex ESI OCR

COGNEX/ESI OCR  We support and sell both Cognex and ESI OCR systems. These are turnkey systems installed on your wafer probers or in line equipment. Both systems are capable of reading scribes from wafers or substrates; even the most degraded scribes are read easily. Systems use Wizards to assist the setup for the scribe. Read rates are 100% with checksum incorporated in the scribe.

System includes I/O card, camera, light control, software, Interface to equipment and mount. Warranty is one year on hardware and software.

BSC TOP PLATE  BSC (Bottom Side Camera) allows reading of scribes on the bottom of the wafer or substrate. We have developed a camera, lighting and algorithms to allow reading of all scribes from the bottom. Engine is Cognex and system runs in NT environment. We also provide the modifications required to your existing tool for obtaining this capability.

EG2001 Wafer prober

EG2001  Shown is a typical EG2001 with a Cognex system and a standard EG2001 mount. System will read 3-6 inch wafers. We have installed over 250 of these systems. Systems that were installed in 1992 are still providing the scribe data for the customer.

Other probers we have installed OCR’s on are EG4090, EG4080, EG4085, EG2010 and TSK APM90.

MOUNTS

prober.com manufactures mounts for any application. Shown below are three typical styles.

  • “CRT” can be mounted to posts and can be setup to match most access locations. All adjustments are on ball bearing slides with lock downs.
  • “EG2001” is the standard for an EG2001 prober. It is adjustable for 3-6 inch wafers and also has adjustable slides and lockdowns.
  • “Acculight Low Profile Mount” can be mounted on the ring carrier of a prober or equipment access area. It provides reading for 4-8 inch wafers and also features ball bearing slides and lockdowns.  This would be typically be used on wafer probers with large testheads where space becomes critical.

We will also design and build any mount required.
