January is almost over and Chinese New Year is just around the corner. I know those New Year’s resolutions can be hard to keep, so I am here to lend a helping hand. Now, I can’t help with your strong desire to polish off that box of donuts in the break room, or teach you a new language (scusa); however, I can help your work life go more smoothly and efficiently. With a new OPUS 3, you can spend less time being frustrated with your tool, and more time getting test results you need. Everything You Could Want in a Tool 

I like to think of the Semics prober, the OPUS3, as the prober everyone wishes they had. Semics has taken all the little things that drive you nuts while testing wafers, and fixed them.  It is a work horse- it does it all.
The Opus3 is like the car that has all the options, except they come standard.

The Opus3 can test 6″, 8″, and 12″ wafers, without having a changeover kit. It has the fastest and simplest auto card changer, keeping your test times efficient.It supports a 300mm wafer as is when purchased.Highly accurate with ±1.5µm accuracyIt uses a Windows interface, making it easy to use and easy to transition to.

Device files can also be easily transferred from your existing TEL and TSK tools.

The Right Temp in Any Season

We continue to offer ERS Thermal Chuck Systems and are certified sales reps. We can install the thermal chuck on a unit you purchase from us, or we can come install it on one of your existing units.  The AC3 Thermal wafer chuck system from ERS is capable of cooling to -55C and heating up to +200C on auto probe stations. On a manual station they can go all the way down to -65C and up to +400C.  Not only do the ERS chucks let you test at the temps you need but they are also low noise, allowing you to get a more accurate reading.

We Make House Calls!

If you have a down tool that needs to be up and running, our engineers can come to your site and work on the tool there to reduce down time. This keeps your fab up and running, which is just as important to us as it is to you.

If ordering a prober from us, we begin refurbishment as soon as we receive your order. This means we can usually have the tool to you within 4 weeks.  We can also help you with installation on site.
