Prober.com Appointed Exclusive ERS America LLC Rep in the Pacific NW

for Wafer Level Heating and Cooling Chuck Systems

Tigard, OR – September 1, 2012 –  Prober.com (prober.dev), one of the longest running companies dedicated to the refurbishment and resale of wafer probers and wafer prober lines, has entered a multi-year cooperative agreement with ERS America LLC (http://www.ers-america.com/ ) as exclusive representative of their wafer level heating and cooling chuck systems in the Pacific Northwest states of Oregon, Washington, CA, Idaho and Utah.

Since producing the first thermal chuck for wafer test in 1970, ERS America LLC has remained at the forefront in developing innovative and reliable wafer level heating and cooling chuck systems in the semiconductor testing area.  Over the past 20 years, a key component of ERS’ success was the development of a sophisticated thermal product line exclusively cooled with air.  The use of air only cooling increases the reliability and productivity in the testing process. Products such as the ERS AirCool® and the ERS AirCool® plus are now famous in the industry for their innovative solutions and, above all, for reliability in the field.  The newest product the AC3 takes these innovations to the next level.

For nearly ten years, Prober.com has integrated ERS systems in probers, providing a cost effective way to add capacity by adding fully refurbished tools to the test floor at a fraction of the cost of new tools.  The company also offers spare parts for probers and integrates OCR solutions.

“For a number of years now, we’ve integrated ERS equipment into our refurbished probers and believe in the quality and reliability of the ERS thermal chuck systems,” notes Dennis Bonciolini, President of Prober.com.  “Our representation of their products throughout the Pacific Northwest expands our product offering to both new companies and our long-time loyal customers.”
